Echo of My Mind: Same heaven!

 Born like everyone,
through the cervix of a woman
and sperm of a man.

They were righteous in their ways:
no cheating,
no killing,
no lying,
no worship of other gods,
only what your papa and mama gave you.
Everything else is idols and doomed to hellfire;
no other group is right.

From this holy path, they went out into the world and rigidly stuck to it.

Life was cruel and temptation is never far away.
They worked hard,
To maintain piety
they showed compassion to fellow poor around them,
from the little they had
they continued to have faith that one day,
the Lord will bless them.

They were the first in the synagogue and masjid,
they were the last to leave, clearing the leftover
they were the free labourers carrying mortar and brick for free
when it was time of labour, to build houses for God.

In their twilight years, they look back and realise they have earned nothing but poverty and pains.

Each time they approach their mullah:
"When will this suffering end?"
The answer is always the same:
"God is not asleep;
His mercy is near."

Sing loud, Rock of Ages, cleft for me.
Hasbunallahu wa ni'mal wakeel.

In the house of God,
they line them up for public humiliation,
called prayer, announce their suffering,
as the priest reels out their private challenges
to showcase his power over them.
"Pray.
Pray harder."

As waits for God's miracle,

his contemporary in faith
who had chosen to sin, and seek forgiveness later,
to hurt fellow men, and donate to charity later
to court the men he was to avoid,
and is now loaded in cash,
those who have yoked with unbelievers;
are seen in the front row of the house of holiness.
affluent, compromised sinners become the elders in the congregation.

They are the recipients of harvest honours.
They are the Deen Papa and Mama.
They are the ones excused from labour.
They are the ones the pastors stand up for when they arrive late to worship.
Even the imam will make excuse for them,
unlike the poor that get admonished for beating their wife
The affluent sinner only get an understanding laugh.

And the pastors/imams?
When suffering hits them, like their vulnerable flocks,
when financial strain becomes unbearable,
testing their resolve,
when the landlord knocks to collect the overdue rent,
or when they tire from exhaustion,
they won't wait for God to answer the prayer.

They won't wait to land in heaven to receive reward for perseverance
They pick a mic and announce a generous free journey to heaven
for any man who solves their personal problems.
It doesn't matter where he is pious or sinner
The marketplace of manipulation never run dry of beautiful sermon
To justify their impatience and deviation from path they preached.

Suffering is not for the man of God;
it is for the flocks,
The sheep and the Donkeys.

In the end,
we shall all go to the same heaven.

Together with us who suffer and wait for mercy in heaven
and our sinners' friends who purchase heaven from the house of God,
even though they are wicked and ruthless.
their faith proclamation have washed their sins away!
And our holy fathers, who did opposite of what they taught us.

All is fair?
God is fair?
Heaven awaits!
